Награждение Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2009
IRON MAIDEN, SLIPKNOT, SAXON, DEF LEPPARD получили награды "Metal Hammer Golden Gods"
На состоявшейся 15 июня в лондонском зале О2 церемонии вручения наград Metal Hammer Golden Gods легендарная хэви-металл-группа IRON MAIDEN увезла домой один из призов.
SLIPKNOT получили две награды - в номинациях лучшая иностранная группа и лучшая концертная группа, а DEF LEPPARD получили приз в номинации "Легенда".
Издатель Metal Hammer Chris Ingham сказал: "C запуском в Лос-Анджелесе в прошлом году церемонии Revolver Golden God Awards, Golden Gods сделал последний шаг к тому, чтобы стать самой престижной и важной наградой в мире рок- и металл-музыки в мире. Мы всегда будем хранить приверженность выбранному направлению в Великобритании и будем чествовать металл, несмотря ни на какие события и чтобы то ни было".
